Sunrise Writer

It's been a minute since I've posted, but I've certainly been busy. Firstly, revamping my entire site! Also, writing new books. And some IRL stuff I had little to no control over. Let's just say it's been quite the year.

So, I'm kicking off 2021 (yes I realize we're almost halfway through it) with some exciting new releases. I've got some sequels to my 2020 novels. And I'm introducing readers to some brand new characters with my upcoming novel, Summer's End.

I've been a National Novel Writing Month writer for many years and it's given me the push that I needed to finish my collection of novels. I've also dipped into the idea of becoming a 5am writer. It's tough when evenings aren't always early. And my toddler has a sixth sense and knows when I'm up early and busy.

CAMH Sunrise Challenge

This spring I'm trying a new kind of challenge. I'm participating in a fundraiser for CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health), the Sunrise Challenge. From May 31 to June 6, we'll be up at sunrise doing something good for our mental health. So, my sister and I are participating as a team and we've chosen to spend our mornings writing. And I'll be posting pictures on my Instagram.

Our goal is to raise $500 as a team. Donations go to research and treatment for mental health.

Thank you!
